Information Revolutions
Richard Lowenberg's long-term body of art works and cultural activism, titled Information Revolutions, includes large paintings and sculptural works, night-vision photography, infrared thermal imaging, video installations, choreographed performances, Internet works, computer generated speech, music, interactive digital media, and writings; to address issues of surveillance and privacy, information economics and ecology, networked collaboration, community mapping and planning, techno-cultural and genetic evolution; and other complex issues provoked by our becoming an increasingly tele-mediated society.
THE INFORMATION REVOLUTION WILL NOT BE TELEVISED. IT WILL NOT BE CYBERCAST. IT IS BEING WRITTEN WITHIN THE DEEPEST RECESSES OF OUR GENETIC CODE. TUNE IN.
