From 1985 through 1995, I contracted with John Lifton and the Zoline Family, on the planning and design of Skyfield (initial code name: Mesa-Z), a proposed eco-community located on 1300 acres west of Telluride and the Mountain Village. Integrated with broader regional planning initiatives, Skyfield was planned to be earth-scaped, energy efficient, tied to a regional alternative transportation system, with fiber and wireless telecommunications infrastructure throughout.
